We believe that education is one of the most powerful tools that can change a child's future.
In Malawi, only 11 percent of students who finish eighth grade actually go on to attend high school. High school is not free, and the highest-scoring students are selected to attend the best schools. Very few families can afford to pay the school fees. And often, the school that a student is selected to attend is prohibitively far from home, leaving boarding costs to pay in addition to the school fees.
Partnering with a high school student through sponsorship provides them with a uniform, school supplies, school fees and other supplies necessary to attend school. You will be connected with the student so that you can send letters and receive updated photos. High school student sponsorships are $110 per month to fully support the student, or you can choose a partial sponsorship.
